What To Expect at Your Visit

Consider your annual ophthalmology visit as a primary check-up, but specifically for your vision and eye health.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your schedule visit.

  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Please bring your current eyeglasses, either the boxes for your contact lenses, or their specifications, along with a list of current medications and insurance details. It's important to note that your eyes may be dilated during your appointment and possibly in following visits as well, so we advise bringing sunglasses also.

  • Should someone accompany me?

If you experience difficulty driving following dilated eye exams, we strongly suggest arranging for someone to drive you to and from these appointments.

  • Do I have to get my eyes dilated?

If you prefer not to have your eyes dilated or not able to have someone accompany you, you have the option to choose a detailed photographic examination of the retina instead, a choice we offer to ensure your comfort and convenience.
